Today I added a little fun part to the Swatch Clopedia Forum.

The Swatch Picture Quiz.

Every now and then, one of the moderators will add a picture to this topic, with a question about it. This could be a tiny part of a watch with a question like "Which Swatch is displayed in this picture?" Or a picture of a Swatch event with a question like "Which special was released during this event?" It can be anything that has to do with Swatch.

I'm also working on a "Swatch Points System" so every good Quiz answer can be rewarded with points. More of this in the next weeks. For now there will be just a text overview of the points.

Please note that these Quiz and Reward ideas are just for fun.

This is Jack Nicholson and the watch next to is GB705 - Nicholson. This watch was made specially for Jack Nicholson.



Before the GB705 - Nicholson was made, Jack had a favorite Swatch watch to wear. Which swatch was that? (Code and Name). Anwers can be posted in this topic.

No idea, but maybe the "GB701" which looks quite similar.

The watch is the GZ 183 Fingernails or GZ 183 H.Blum watch
produced after the Wristory-auction of 2001.

The artist in question is Helmut Newton (the photographer, deceased)

The watch was produced in 2003, 100 pieces numbered (plus 15 unnumbered for tresor du patron)

more trivia: There are some early versions (dummies but also working) of the GB705 Nicholson which have a red second hand like the GB701. Very soon, the second hand was changed to yellow. So most of the GB705 Nicholson models have the yellow second hand.
