and the GR 400 Compass from 1984 the GR 401 Compu-tech has a red head but black bands Do you mean they still had heads left over from those earlier days ? |

Ok haes I want to give the point to you The answer is quite simple. Swatch had production problems with the movement of the date and daydate models. The watches work fine, but the date mechanism doesn't. In the early years they made new models with those defective watches. From the GR400 and G 401 they made the Red Tennis. Later they started to make the No date watches, which they kept doing until 1996. Good Luck Jeroen Dr Swatch
