I noticed that the New Gent designed by Hiroyuki Matsuura SUOZ110 STRAWBERRY SWITCHBLADE, collection S/S 2011, has disappeared from the official Swatch Website (at least from the Italian one) and it also can not be purchased on the Swatch Online Store (I checked the Italian, German and American Store). You can find it only in the Swatch Finder, and of course on Squiggly.
The "strange" aspect is that the remaining 5 watches of the same collection (Transmission, Crowha, Windy Bunny, Ducky Brigade, Use your ears) are displayed in the collection page and can be regularly purchased from the online store.

Does anybody know the reason? Is there maybe a problem of copyright or something else? I read that Strawberry Switchblade was the name of a female pop rock band, maybe it's a problem with the name of the watch?

I bought the Strawberry Switchblade last year in Munich for my collection, so I'm not trying to buy it again, it's just my curiosity :D

Thank you for your comments!

well, it is still available at www.1uhr.de (which is also an official Swatch store) so it has not been withdrawn from sale I guess.

If it has anything to do with the group Strawberry Switchblade it might be like that Swatch Yellow Submarine SDL101 where it was ordered to be withdrawn because of The Beatles movie, but is still available for sale. (I read that one time, not really sure if that is true or not.)

It is not available as a single piece on the UK online store, but the boxed set is still available.

Maybe the watch has simply sold out from Swatch.

Squiggly does still have the watch available to buy http://www.squiggly.com/gb/en/swatch/st ... uoz110.htm
