There are two types of Stop Watches.

The first generation is only the SSB100 and the SSK100. They have a pretty complicated way to be reset.
The second generation works exactly like the Musicall watches. Let me know which model you have and I will explain how to reset it.

Hi Rob -

I have the same question on my Stop Swatch - it's a first generation Stop Swatch, which I've had for probably about 20 years. Dug it out and put a battery in it, and I can reset the time, but have forgotten how to reset the stopwatch to zero (both hands at 12). Would much appreciate if you can tell me how.

Thanks - John

OK, push the button to start, again to stop and a third to time reset. After two seconds the watch will start to reset. In that inter lapse you pull the crown out and by turning the crown you can set the minute and hour hand to 12 o'clock.
When this is done you can push back the crown in and all is done.
