I can't add pictures so I'll try to describe this watch that I can't seem to find. Is it rare?

The watch has 2002 on the face
White face
Lt blue numerals
Lt blue hands
Yellow second hand
Image of sun on face at 8 o'clock

Band is primarily light blue
Clasp is clear
Turtle is darker blue shell with green head and feet
There are three suns on the band
There are five sets of overplayed circles comprised of darker purple white and lighter purple where the two overlay

I've spent a lot of time looking for this watch. Is it rare since its not listed anywhere or am I missing something here

If anyone wants it PM me

Thanks so much !

Kim

Hi again,

I found it elsewhere on this (great) forum. It is:
Paquita's day
GN210
2002

I saw the same watch valued on a website. It was rated 1 out of 5 stars and valued at $55. What do you all think a 4.5 out of 5 stars would be worth?

Also curious as to why this watch is considered to be more rare than others; did they make fewer, was it popular, worn a lot and destroyed as a result? Thought you experts might know.

I plan to put it on eBay as my wife no longer wants it. Neither of us collect so we'd like to see it go to someone who would really appreciate it. eBay takes 10% as well so I can pass that savings on to y'all.

Thanks a bunch,

Kim

Hi Kim,

Maximum stars is maximum price. Even though prices are historically low the ultra rare pieces are still in high demand and fetch a lot of money. Prices over 10,000 Euro are still possible.

Rarity comes from several reasons but in general it's just supply and demand. The less there are and the more people want it, the more expensive it gets.

I did not read wether your Swatch was worn or not. In worn condition it will be very hard to find someone who is even prepared to pay for it. In new condition best expect less then $55 that you find at dealers. Personal sales are always much lower.

All the best,

Hans

This watch is not on most of the websites. Is it rare in your opinion?

It could prove to be but only if many people start looking for one. I don't think so.
