The Swatch Diaphane Automatic Chrono has not been here for too long but I found a problem. Ever since the kids used my Right Track to time their Alienmaker game (yes, some of my Swatches get an everyday life!) the second hand of the chrono function did not reset to the zero point at 12 o'clock anymore. Instead of that it always returned to the 00:00:05 position. I tried many things to get it back to zero (without opening it) but until yesterday I did not succeed. After taking some time I found a solution! This might help you some day.

Here is the procedure: Start the chrono and let it run for 57 or so seconds. It will stop a few seconds before the faulty reset point. Now reset the chrono. The second hand will now stop a little to the left of the faulty position. It will keep this position as the reset point. Repeat this several times and it will go back to the correct reset position.

A strange feature!

As far as I know only Swatch themselves can calibrate the watches...

So the best way is to return the watch to Swatch...

An English customer of http://www.swatchrepair.com sent his one in to Swatch to have it regulated (it ran 40 seconds fast each day). Swatch returned it stating they cannot regulate it. So we did this for him and got the deviation back to less than a second. Now if they cannot regulate it they surely cannot calibrate it.

That is to say... Of course there are Swatch technicians that can do all that's needed! They just will not do it for customers.
