How does Polywatch
work? |
|
It is well known that plastic watch
crystals scratch very easily. This will make them look unattractive.
Most of the times the crystal can not be replaced. In the case
of Swatch this is always impossible as the (plastic) watches have
plastic cases.
Watch owners over the world suffer from this sort of problem.
Polywatch, a new type of special-purpose
polishing paste, offers them a simple solution. Now you can remove
scratches rapidly and cheaply from their plastic watch crystal
by carrying out an easy-to-follow "do-it-yourself" procedure.

How does it work:
1.
First you need to use very fine sanding paper to erase the deepest scratches.
When you have finished that you apply some polywatch on the crystal
and you rub it hard on the crystal in circles.
The plastic crystal is very slightly dissolved and ground down by tiny
abrasive particles. The edges of the scratch marks are then smoothed
off and the cracks filled in with some of the original plastic from
the watch crystal.
