The richest of all colours, black is back with a vengeance in this elegant and exemplary exercise in style. Ribbed on the lower side, smooth on top, the frosted white silicon rubber strap plays with opposing blacks and whites. On the 12 o'clock side, the word BLACK is written in capital letters. On the 6 o'clock side is a black insert with punched holes for the buckle tongue. The loop is solid matt black rubber: black silicon rubber inserts run along the edges to the streamlined moulded case. Frosted and transparent, the case frames a convex crystal that reveals the absence of a dial and the reflective metal and black plastic components of the movement beneath. The hour and minute hands are mirrored metal with white Superlite highlights; the seconds hand is needle-thin and white.
