There is a universe hidden in the blues, an infinity of colours with a single name. One variation on the blues, this Jelly in Jelly has BLUE stamped in blue on the ribbed white silicon rubber strap. Blue rubber inserts run along the edges and offer punch-holes for the buckle tongue; the rubber loop is solid blue. The smoothly moulded plastic case is matt and frosted and transparent; it frames and holds within it a set of shining metal and blue plastic components, the movement. There are no hour or minute markers, no Arabic numerals, no way to tell the day or date; there is in fact no dial at all. Mirrored metal hour and minute hands with Superlite inserts and thin white seconds hand mark the time of day. Or night.
