Big and bold and black and white, a high-tech window on the heart of the machine. The strap is a composite design of white leather with black rubber inserts, with a grey plastic buckle and white synthetic textile loop. The large frosted plastic case of this Diaphane Automatic is tinged with grey. Mounted on the case is a broad, unmarked matt aluminum bezel, level with the flat crystal protecting the dial. Beneath the crystal, at the outer limit of the dial, is a sloping mirrored ring; a stencil-cut grey metal band bears the hour and minute markers. The hour markers are embossed metallic double bars or dots; the minute markers are black. In the same raised metallic colour are the large, robotic Arabic numerals at hours 3, 5, 7 and 9. A date window is cut in the grey band at hour six. The movement is visible from both front and back. The hour and minute hands are mirrored metal, the needle-thin seconds hand is red.
