2009: Hicham Lalhou. Considered Morocco's most forefront Designer, Hicham Lahlou is also well-known on the International "design Scene" for his melange of creativity, sincerity and intellectual curiosity, especially concerning his love for history of different civilisations, his passion for new work is based on the principle of duality, which he belives expresses the language of both the metaphorical and stylistic. His concept was for a watch with a double-display dial with elegant, simple lines highlighted by details telling us a story, stylised hands tracing a constantly moving design, a crown, arch to arch; all beautifully connected. An ultra modern, distinctive watch expressing an open world. This watch travels through time and space, building bridges between two sea banks, two countries, two continents.
