Lollipops and cotton candy, bubble-gum and ice cream in a dozen different flavours. The plastic strap of this Original Gent stacks horizontal layers of pale pastels like so many sedimentary stripes of multicoloured liquorice: pink and white and blue and yellow make a ladder to a heavenly candy store. The clear plastic case frames a sun-brushed silver dial where big blue and pink Arabic numerals pop up in the same pastels as on the strap: pale sky blue at 3 and 9, pink at 6 o'clock and 12. Big round yellow dots serve as markers for all other hours. Jumping out from the dial are easily-visible aquamarine hour and minute hands and a bright yellow seconds hand.
