Created by the Blue Man Group, Swatch Blue is a splash & splatter Art Special (unlimited edition). On the white plastic strap are three blue heads acting up at paint-throwing party, and the plastic "canvas" shows the result of their antics-splashes and splotches of bright blue, yellow, pink and orange, with a touch of black in the shirts and the name of artists on the loop. The buckle is transparent plastic, the case a frosted white transparent work of modern art (streamlined curves and smoothly sculpted contours). The dial takes up the transparent tradition of the Jelly Fish, disappearing to reveal the movement components within the case, polished metal and blue plastic. Squared hour and minute hands in reflective metal with white Superlite highlights and a needle-thin white seconds hand mark the time.
