The super-wide strip passes beneath the brushed-steel case of this massive, heavy-duty Irony THE Chrono with steel crown and chrono pushers on the right. Beneath the crystal is a black tachymetre scale on a broad sloping band with blue, white and orange sections. Dominating the white dial are the three steel-rimmed chrono subdials with sun-brushed steel dials and black numerals and markers; they partially or completely obscure all of the embossed Arabic numerals marking the hours, with the exception of hours 8 and 12. A steel-framed date window at hour 4 shows white numerals on black. Black hour and minute hands with superlite highlights and a thin steel seconds hand with a broad counterweight mark the time. The hands on the chrono subdials are orange.
