1975: Roger Tallon brought his knowledge of aeronautical materials (anti-corosive metal, hyperbaric technology). He twisted the use of these materials in favour of the watch, thus creating the avant-gardist style of the Lip brand. Tallon’s designs keep all the particulars that make a watch a watch. It has a traditional movement, wrist watch, current strap and buckle. But he breaks with the jewel-watch concept, bombing away the straitjacket of the classical watchmaking shapes.
