The steel bezel shows the intricate indices and Arabic numeral indicators of a 1000-metre tachymeter. The dial is ringed by a shiny sloping band with raised steel pyramids at all hours circling a steel-grey ring marked with black Arabic numerals at every other second, except where the chrono subdials and a date window at hour 6 interrupt the sequence. The subdials are joined by a band of concentric grey rings at the white centre of the dial beneath large raised Arabic numerals at hours 4, 8 and 12 and circular hour markers at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 9, 11 and 12 hours. The hour and minute hands are steel-framed grey with superlite highlights; the subdial counters and the seconds hand are thin red needles.
