Risen in the East from the depths of night, a bright yellow sun greets the sailor. This strikingly elegant Irony Chrono features a brushed stainless steel 316L bracelet and case. Mounted on the case is a stainless steel 316L bezel with a black band from which Arabic numerals emerge (05, 10, 15 ... 60), along with minute indices marking the first quarter hour. On the black dial are a white-on-black minute ring with silver applique indices at all hours; black applique Arabic numerals emerge from the dark to indicate hours 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 12. The sixty-minute chrono counter has a black dial framed by silver applique with printed white numerals and indices; the ‘sun’ of the name is represented by the decimal chrono counter with its yellow band around the black centre, black indices and silver applique circles. The continuous seconds counter at 6 o’clock is also framed by a silver applique, as is the black-on-white date window between 4 and 5 o’clock. Reflective metal squelette hour and minute hands with white superlite highlights and a slim chrono seconds hand mark the time.
