The deceptively realistic wood-grain surface extends from the strap to an inlay set in the bezel mounted on the case; bezel and case are in stainless steel 316L. The dark brown imitation wood appears on the dial, as well, with silver hour dots at all hours and fine silver lines that form an abstract star-burst. Reflective metal hour and minute hands with white superlite highlights and a delicate metal seconds hand mark the time.
