A playful reference to the drawing boards of graphic design, by English artist Gary Card, this colourful Gent features a yellow matt folio strap with black lines evocative of a gridwork drawing pad, solid black and lime green plastic buckle and a solid red plastic loop. The solid matt black plastic case frames a dial divided into colour-block segments like slices of a crazy pizza. The yellow segment framing 12 o’clock has delicate black minute indexes; proceeding clockwise, a blank white segment is followed by three black sections separated by thin white lines, with red Roman numerals marking hours 3, 4, 5 and 6; the following blue segment has concentric black arcs; the final solid red slice remains unmarked. In the absence of other numerals or indexes, lime green hour and minute hands mark the time.
