Created by Berlin-based illustrator Tanja Székessy, this lovely Gent presents stylised humans and animals glowing with sparkling light and ethereal colours, performing a theatrical spectacle lit with a touch of mystery. The top folio strap of this exquisite piece presents white, pastel pink and blues with red highlights; hoops and balls and a pale pink and white harlequin pattern evoke the circus atmosphere and the costume of a clown; a white plastic loop complements the solid white plastic case. On the dial, a young woman’s silent and vaguely mysterious gaze meets the viewer’s eye. In the absence of numerals and indexes, white hour and minute hands and a light pink seconds hand mark the time.
