This week we received two new Swatch models.
SUIK402 - Fresh Summer
An invitation to adventure on the high seas. The blue and orange synthetic leather strap and blue loop of this seaworthy Chrono Plastic hold a transparent clear plastic case with blue plastic crown and chrono push buttons and a moulded transparent clear plastic bezel. The bezel features blue, white-on-orange and white-on-blue Arabic numerals (05, 10, 15 ... 60). A sun-brushed dark blue dial features Arabic numerals; hours 3, 6, and 9 are white on blue spheres; hour 12 is a blue-on-white sphere; hours 1,5, 7 8 and 11 are in white. A blue-on-white date window ringed in orange appears at hour 4. White nautical ropes and cords surround the dial and subdials, which have orange and blue numerals and indices and blue hands. Squelette white metal hour and minute hands and a slim orange seconds hand mark the time.
YCS517G - Spymaker Blue
Clearly built for a man of class. The bracelet of this substantially elegant Irony Chrono features highly polished links in stainless steel 316L. The case and bezel are also in polished stainless steel 316L; the bezel has a smooth gear-toothed edge and a printed blue band from which polished Arabic numerals emerge (05, 10, 15 ... 60). The sun-brushed blue dial features a white-on-blue minute ring and skeleton white Arabic numerals with grey infills at hours 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 and a large hour 12 with red infill; a black-on-white date window appears at hour 3. The chrono and continuous seconds counters are framed by silver appliques, as is the date window. White numerals and indices and reflective metal hands distinguish the counters; the 60-minute counter enhances the naval theme with a subtle “Captain’s wheel” design. Reflective metal hour and minute hands and central seconds hand, all with white highlights, mark the time. |
