From 23rd till the 31st of July the BLUE BALL 10 music festival takes place in Luzern, Switzerland. The festival is sponsored by Swatch and features artists such as James Morrison, Sinéad O’ Connor, Aura Dione, Natalie Cole and many more. At this event Swiss Swatch the Club members were invited on the 24th of July. At the event the members got a numbered watch limited to 100 pieces and all the surface of the packagings of the 100 watches togetherformed a painting. In a lucky draw every member could choose one of the 100 watches. The packages were all numbered 101 – 200 on the back and contained one of the colour code watches. On the keeper of the watches was the logo of the Blue Balls festival printed.

This week we have received 4 new models of the Fall/Winter 2010 collection.
The first three is a series of colours based on the model YLS141G White Ceramic:

Swatch has launched a new model made by the famous Brazilian archtitect Oscar Niemeyer. The first launch was at the National Museum in Brasilia, but now the watch is available in limited numbers worldwide.

Just like last years, during the Swatch FIVB Volleyball World Tour, the staff that participated in this event received a special FIVB 2010 Swatch to thank them. This year the watch is a SKB106 – Fire Guard with a new strap.

A new Chinese Valentine Special will be released in Taiwan. The new Swatch special will be made in collaboration with Jimmy Spa, a famous illustrator from Taipei.
The specials is a LK308G –Lady Maona and is packaged in a book with illustrations of Jimmy. The special is limited to 2000pcs, not numbered.

These two new models in the Swatch Chrono Automatic Collection feature a moulded plastic case; disc-shaped windows in the crystal glass caseback present an unobstructed view of the fascinating mechanical movement within. The heart of the Swatch Chrono Automatic is the new self-winding ETA Calibre C01.211, a fifteen-jewel, 3Hz movement with a 46-hour power reserve. The thirty-minute and six-hour chrono counters are positioned at 12 and 6 o’clock, respectively, while the continuous seconds counter appears at 9 o’clock. A date aperture appears on all models at 3 o’clock.
With most of the ne collections that Swatch releases, they also design a set of wallpapers to Swatch Up your Computer or Laptop with. They have just released a new set for the new Full Blooded watches, check it out!
