We have received 3 new specials this week, which will excite the hardcore collectors:
the SUOZ100s Salmagell is a strictly limited Gold and Pioneer 2010 special of which only 250 numbered pieces have been made.
The GZ215C Casette Playa (Playa look) is a pack complete with T-shirt. A limited edition of 200 unnumbered pieces. This watch was sold at the UK Swatch & Art event on the 6th of May 2010. All SWatch collectors received the new club watch Playa Look in a unique packaging especially made for the launch event. Normally, the eye ball containing the club watch is packaged in a black box. The event packaging (GZ215-1) containing the eye ball is blue and and has a violet inscription “Limited Edition Pack Of 200 Pieces”. An extra Cassette Playa loop (not available with the regular edition of the club watch) is also contained in the box.
And the GO105pack, the Milano Vogue Special (Fresh Papaya). This special has been sold at a one day event at the Milano Vogue Night, the 9th of September 2010.

On the 10th of September 2010, the long-awaited dream project of the St. Scholastica College in Manilla, the Philippines, came to a completion and was shown to the public. A new special launched by Swatch, the St. Scholastica Swatch, is a limited edition of 500 pieces.
It’s an extra large Blue Wing (SUDN100) with a special strap, packed in a pretty paper sleeve. The special was initiated by the St. Scholastica College High School Batch for celebrating the silver jubilee of the class as the school was founded in 1986, so it’s almost 25 years ago.

On August 28 a Swatch the Club FIVB event took place in Den Haag, The Netherlands. A lot of dutch collectors were present at this event to participate in the Beach volley clinic and have a sportive afternoon.
Swatch will release two extremely expensive Diaphane One Lux specials soon.
The most expensive Swatch watches ever!
1. Full Turn White (SVAZ103S, limited and numbered to 100 pcs).
This watch is designed for the woman with sophisticated and selective tastes and features a white gold bezel set with two baguette diamond indexes at hours 3, 6, 9 and 12 and single baguette diamonds at all other hours (0.41 carats in all), a white gold rehaut and a white, genuine lizard leather strap. Price is EUR 15,500.
2. Full Turn Night (SVAZ104S, limited and numbered to 200 pcs).
This watch is designed for men and features a glossy black ceramic bezel, solid black plastic case and a genuine alligator leather strap. Price is 11,500 EUR.
A new Swatch product line will be launched very soon: New Gent. This new product line is almost the same as the Standard Gent line that started as the first Swatch in 1983. The main difference is that the diameter has increased to 40MM (the old one is 33mm). The strap has 9 holes instead of 8.
The traditional Swatch The Club Gold & Pioneer Event 2010 took place in Saas-Fee, Switzerland from September 1 till 4. About 150 collectors from all around the world participated at the event. Just like last years, a special and unique swatch was given to the collectors. This year’s special was the first of the new New Gent watch, Salmagell – SUOZ100S. The watch is packaged in a white plactic with silicon pack numbered with a gold plate at the bottom. The special is limited to 250 pcs. The watch has a loop with golden imprint stating “Gold & Pioneer”. The back of the watch case is numbered with xxx/250. The production code is “033″, so it was made in half August 2010!
At a fabulous visit of the ETA Swatch production, collectors also received a very nice special glass with the details of the visit and a unique lab coat with the ETA logo. On top it all: The new Gold Members were able to build their own watch inside the ETA productions with the ETA staff!
