Swatch Bijoux - Dulce Muchacha Family
Dulche Muchacha speaks to the hand and the heart and the curious eye, drawing attention to herself with an invitation to explore a dark and fascinating territory. The simplest of archaic forms evoke the ancient arts of fabrication, the gentle hands that give shape to clay or wax that is then cast in bronze or gold to form ornaments for the body. The surface of this family has the look and feel of ancient gold. The smoothly rounded surfaces of pendant, ring and earrings feature indicipherable signs etched in the surface in sinuous black lines that suggest a map of imagined islands or an archipelago seen through the eyes of a bird flying far above. The pendant hangs from a black satin string and features, as does the ring, a single transparent white crystal set in its golden surface. The open-circle earrings form a perfect complement and are, like the ring and pendant, made of stainless steel coated with matt gold with black-line engravings. | | | | |
