Fossil was founded in 1984 by Tom Kartsotis. Fossil copied the vintage styles of the watches form the 30's, 40 and 50's with great success. In 1989 Fossil started to pack his watches in its infamous tins. Nowadays Fossil watches are innovative and classic. Philip Starck is responsible for the modern designs.
