Swatch Bijoux - Bom-Drop Family
Bom-Drop is what happens when chance brings a child and paint together with nobody around to supervise or show her what to do. Left to her own imagination, this child plays with pastel shades, with white and a brighter, swimming-pool blue. She splashes the colours in random shapes, paints hearts and fruit and big, fat raindrops falling from the sky. Her biggest canvas is a flowing bangle made of moulded, polished steel. The coloured drops are resin inlays and have fallen on the ring and earrings, too, and on the pendant hanging from its black leather string. All are made of moulded steel with coloured resin inlays and have an irregular look and feel that betrays the work of a child at play. | | | | |
