Chinese New Year
Swatch joins Chinese communities around the world in welcoming the Year of the Tiger. February 14th kicks off the traditional 15-day New Year's celebration. It's a time for inspiration, with joyful colours and an eye on contemporary fashions along with family get-togethers, parades and colourful events culminating in the famous Lantern festival. An ancient custom associates each year with one of twelve animals, and people born that year are said to have something of the animal's personality. A person born in the Year of the Tiger is likely to be powerful, active and positive all good signs of success in the year ahead!
