Popular still among Bond film fans are Blofeld and his fluffy white cat, to which Swatch pays tribute with this classic Gent. The white synthetic leather strap evokes the cat and her master’s affiliation with the enemy organisation known as “SPECTRE”, represented by the ominous octopus with 8 spiky tentacles. This menacing beast appears engraved on a shining stainless steel charm dangling, like an ID tag on a collar, from the single stainless steel end piece that joins the six-o’clock side of the strap to the clear plastic case. The 007 pistol logo is displayed in silver on the white synthetic leather loop. The dial is a mirror marked at 1 o’clock by a light green cat’s paw print. All other hours are marked by printed white Arabic numerals. The hour, minute and slim central seconds hands that mark the time feature a sandpaper silver surface.
Designed by the Argentine artist Christian Montenegro, this intriguing Gent presents a cat stretched across both sides of the strap, its whiskered face peering from the dial. The colourful design extends from the top folio strap to the transparent clear plastic case, which is also printed, and on to the dial. The cat’s red mouth, red whiskers, black nose and large round eyes form an enigmatic and benign expression, as if encouraging its owner to take a positive approach to life. In the absence of all numerals and indexes, black hour and minute hands mark the time.
This watch is one of the biggest hits in Swatch history and when it was released Swatch didn't know it was going to be such a hit. In 1995 the watch has had numerous re-runs and in 2003 an X-Large version (SUDN101) has been made. The blue/grey case frames the dial that says Sweet Dreams in 6 languages and two white sheep jumping against a starlit sky. The Black sheep in the name is shown on the bottom of the strap hidden in an abundance of white sheep. Gold hour and minute hands and a white second hand show the time.
Super-cute, big-eyed cartoon animals float in a pale blue sky on the plastic strap of this original Gent; the birds, worm, chicken, sheep and cow are complemented by a toothy cartoon mouse on the blue and white dial within a clear plastic case. Blue-rimmed white Arabic numerals appear at hours 1 and 7 through 12. Black hour and minute hands and blue seconds hand mark the time.
The artist who designed the Prosperous Fish must have been inspired by the Chinese Culture. The silver plastic strap has a large golden carp on it. The sign of prosperity. The white dial of this standard Swatch has a large print of a Chinese character. The white/black hour hand and red/black minute hand and balck second hand show the time.
The plastic strap of the SWATCH Chinese New Year Special features lots of smiling pink pigs, floating along with golden coins above a golden ground. The red and gold colours of the 2007 SWATCH Chinese New Year's Special are not chosen by chance. Both red and gold play a special role in the celebration of the New Year: Red is a bright and happy colour, said to represent wealth and prosperity-for which gold is the perfect expression!
Special Packaging is a round red cardboard box with golden coins and a shiny golden piggy-bank. This lucky combination is meant to help bring fortune (luck and riches) in the Year of the Pig to come. There's no guarantee, of course, that fortune will smile on everyone, so the golden piggy bank suggests it can't hurt to prepare (by saving money!). SWATCH looks forward to the Year of the Pig-a year of fortune, wealth and luck. And to all the loyal friends of SWATCH, we offer BE LUCKY, and best wishes!
A look in this proudly colourful peacock's eye reveals the movement at the heart of this Jelly-in-Jelly. The plastic buckle, loop and case are in transparent shades of blue, while the plastic strap and cut-out dial are close-up colour prints of peacock feathers. Absent all numerals, reflective metal hour and minute hands and thin metal seconds hand mark the time.
Delightful, elegant and charming at once, this Irony Lady Lady features a cut-steel bangle/bracelet with stylishly drawn butterflies whose wings are turquoise and lilac enamel insets. The polished steel case is set within the bangle; its unmarked polished steel bezel frames a mirrored silver dial with a single transparent crystal at hour 12. In the absence of numerals, delicate pink squelette hour and minute hands and a fine white seconds hand mark the time. This watch is for a wrist of about 17.5 cm.
Several skeptical-looking cartoon parrots appear within circular picture frames in a range of bright rainbow colours on the synthetic print strap of this entertaining original Gent. The two parrot-portraits on either side of the clear plastic case are raised in relief. Absent all numerals, the dial has a cluster of overlapping multi-coloured buttons in sun-shiny, tropical hues. White squelette hour and minute hands and a thin red seconds hand mark the time.
Bright-eyed cartoon bugs in a sunny summer dreamscape. The plastic strap of this colourful Gent is filled with dragon- and butterflies, caterpillars and multi-coloured pastel wings. The glossy white plastic case frames a sunbrushed light pink dial with large green Arabic numerals at hours 3, 6, 9 and 12 and smaller orange numerals at all other hours. The broad hour and minute hands offer a white and pink pattern resembling a cartoon caterpillar and serve to mark the time.
Cartoon animals romp on a summer morning. The multicoloured top bottom folio strap of this light-hearted Gent features a toothy green rabbit, a teddy bear, two rhinos and two birds, all cavorting in a summery flower garden. The case in transparent blue plastic frames a white dial with a pale lilac leaf at the centre. The cartoon creatures from the strap turn up again on the dial, marking the hours at 2, 4, 8 and 10 o’clock. Printed purple Arabic numerals indicate all other hours. Purple hour and minute hands and a slim lilac seconds hand mark the time.
A child's garden of undersea fantasies fills with friendly cartoon creatures. The plastic strap of this Original Gent shows a vertical slice of underwater life bubbling up from the seabed to the star(fish!) high above. The loop is frosted, the buckle clear, and the transparent plastic case is tinted blue. On the blue and white dial, bubbles and off-centre Arabic numerals float, with large orange numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 hours, blue or pale blue numerals (hour 2 within a bubble) at all other hours except 7, whose place is taken by the rising bubbles. Lime-green hour and minute hands and a watery blue seconds hand mark the time.
This watch is exclusively designed for Swatch by the Swiss Artist N. Troxler. This watch is part of a set of 4 watches that have been released to celebrate the 700th birthday of the Swiss Confederation. The plastic strap and the dial are covered with black and white cows. Red hour and minute hands and a yellow second hand mark the time.
