Sailors rush to trim the white sails of a ship on a wind-whipped, deep blue sea. The bracelet of this rugged new Swatch Chrono Plastic is formed of interlocking rounded, solid white plastic links. The crown and chrono pushers to the right, the rotating bezel and the case are all fashioned of moulded, solid white plastic. Dark blue Arabic numerals (05, 10, 15 … 60) and a dark blue minute ring mark the rotating bezel with the same dark blue hue as the dial. Large white Arabic numerals indicate 4, 8 and 12 o’clock, smaller white numerals hours 1, 2, 5, 7, 9 and 11. A round, white-on-dark blue date window appears at 3 o’clock. The sixty-minute and decimal counters at 10 and 2 o’clock are formed from white numerals and indexes printed in white on the dark blue ground of the dial, as is the continuous seconds counter at 6 o’clock. All subdials show slim white hands. A thin white chrono seconds hand registers stop times, and white hour and minute hands with white superlite highlights mark the time.
