It’s snow-time in the land of ‘toons. The plastic strap of this wintry Gent is a vertical strip that runs from a snow-flaked sky to snowy ground through layers of trees and a cartoon figure bundled up against the cold. The transparent plastic case frames a multi-colour snowball-shaped design on the dial. A broad blue band with white Arabic numerals at all hours rings a central zone whose dark red colour takes up that of the cartoon figure and trees from the strap. Squared white hour and minute hands and a dark red, needle-thin seconds hand mark the time. |
