The IOC 100 watch was made in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee. The proceeds of this watch have been used to help young people to get off the streets and get involved in sports, but also to rebuild the sports stadium in Sarajevo after the war.
In this digital watch from Swatch you find the following functions:
2 different Time Zones, Alarm, day date and year, Stopwatch and Backlight, so you can see the dial in the dark. On the case of this watch a part of the flag of Holland has been printed. The actual flag is the red, white and blue. The orange color represents the Royal Family, the house of Orange.
Its 3-D turquoise synthetic strap is a real eye-catcher. Raised white lettering edged in red highlights SWATCH-FIVB on the 12 o'clock side and Beach Volley World Tour on the other; a red retaining loop and transparent buckle complete it. The transparent case frames a silver sun-brushed dial featuring white Arabic numerals edged in black at 4, 8, and 12 over white and sections marked by raised horizontal lines. The alternating turquoise and white outer band with white or red minute markers and Arabic numerals encircles three brushed red timers with black and white markings and white Arabic numerals. The squelette hour and minute hands are in white and black.
